At Vision Soccer, our player pathway is intentionally designed to meet every child exactly where they are. Whether a player is brand new to the game or an experienced player aspiring to compete at the highest levels, our programs are built to support, challenge, and guide them forward.

Our programs are specifically geared for players ages 6-8 years old. We start with foundational movement, ball mastery, and small-sided games, to a hybrid developmental training model, preparing players for competitive play. Our programs ensure that players develop the technical ability, confidence, and understanding needed to succeed at the next level.

This three-part blog series gives families an inside look at how the Vision pathway works through our three core programs: In-House Programs ('Skills' and '3v3 Leagues',) Vision Academy, and Vision FC. Vision FC is where we introduce competition against outside competition and local clubs. Players who have developed their foundational skill set, can now continue to learn the game through playing. Our training environment is still built around ball mastery, small-sided games, and building confidence. Players learn to think for themselves, rotate through all positions, and experience meaningful playing time that matches their developmental needs. Vision FC is the next step in the pathway, preparing players not just for games, but for a lifetime of creativity, resilience, and love for the sport.

Vision Academy is the bridge between our In-House Program and Vision FC, giving young players the structure they need without rushing them into full competitive play. Through a balanced blend of technical training, small-sided games, and low-pressure competition, players build confidence while learning to solve problems on the field. The hybrid model allows them to train and play games with both our In-House programs and our teams at Vision FC.

Our In-House Program is where young players develop the movement, coordination, and confidence they’ll rely on for the rest of their soccer journey. Before tactics or positions should be introduced, players must first learn to move well, think creatively, and play freely with the ball at their feet. Through a balanced mix of psychomotor training, ball mastery, 1v1 play, and small-sided games, we help every child build real foundations in a joyful, low-pressure environment. This is where the Vision pathway begins, with players who are prepared, confident, and ready for the game to grow with them.
